Nominasi-nominasi The 8th International Mobile Gaming Awards (IMGA) telah diumumkan. Beberapa game dari developer ternama, misalnya “Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP” buatan Capy Games, “Contre Jour HD”-nya Mokus Games, dan “Infinity Blade II” karya Chair Entertainment, yang kesemuanya telah menjadi nominator di dua ajang penghargaan game lainnya, Game Developer’s Choice Awards dan Interactive Achievement Awards.
Tahun ini, IMGA juga menambah kategori penghargaan baru, yaitu “Best Social Mobile Game”, dimana para nominator dipilih berdasarkan implementasi fungsionalitas jejaring sosial serta compatibility dengan gadget dan sistem operasi yang berbeda.
Meski kebanyakan nominator adalah studio berskala kecil, beberapa nama besar seperti Remedy Entertainment – terkenal sebagai developer game konsol ternama, “Max Payne” – juga meramaikan nominasi.
