Bahasa Indonesia VS English

Do you know that when English was being proposed by many countries to UN to be the official language of the world, our beloved Bung Karno was also proposing our language, Bahasa Indonesia to be considered also. On what ground? Bahasa Indonesia was form partly from Melayu language. And many other countries also use this kind of language (one of them your beloved country malaysia :evil: ). Unfortunately we lost.

However, we should be proud we have a nationalist figure such as Soekarno. We love Indonesia....

This is the good thing about our first president, Soekarno. He was a brave person and dared to act against the tide. Unfortunately, he was lacking in management skill and could not gain enough support from his own people.

I don't think he's lack in management skills.. Perhaps his problem was always with beautiful women. I think he had lots of supports from his people. Perhaps if you learn about the movement of Sept 30, you will learn that many people had to die for supporting him... He's a great charismatic person. In his last days, he make a great mistake by announcing him as the absolut president to death... The same mistake Soeharto make by claiming his presidency for a life time...

I have no specific comment toward our late first Indonesian President. But one thing I know in my opinion is there is always rise and fall when you are on the top. All the president we have previously I believe was GOD mean. But we are talking about human being in here. Look at Soeharto, Megawati, or even recent president. They are all have an ego and sometimes bigger than what they can achieve. I just hope whoever the president is, to not forget their ground
