Well, I personally think Disney did a really great job remaking the stories to movies.
The original storied that you posted really had a lot of harsh part that kids shouldn't watch.
Like, the cannibalism. the I eat you, you eat him part, and also the part where Cinderella's stepsisters cut off their toes/heel just to fit into the glass slippers. It sends a shiver up my spine just by thinking of it!
