Bayi mammoth Lyuba akan dipamerkan di museum Inggris

Masih ingat dengan Lyuba? Bayi mammoth yang ditemukan dalam kondisi terawetkan sempurna ini dipamerkan di Natural History Museum mulai 23 Mei-7 September 2014 di London, Inggris. Bayi mammoth ini tingginya 85 cm dan panjang 130 cm. Dia ditemukan di Siberia, Rusia pada Mei 2007 oleh penggembala rusa Yuri Khudi dan anak-anak lakinya saat mencari kayu di sepanjang Sungai Yuribei. Lyuba yang mati saat berusia sebulan diperkirakan berasal dari 42 ribu tahun lalu. Lyuba juga nama istri Yuri yang berarti cinta dalam bahasa Rusia.
