In the near future, weapons expert James McCullen (Christopher Eccleston) has created a nanotechnology-based weapon capable of destroying an entire city. His company MARS sells four warheads to NATO, and the U.S. Army is tasked with delivering the warheads. Duke (Channing Tatum) and Ripcord (Marlon Wayans) are delivering the warheads when they are ambushed by the Baroness (Sienna Miller), who Duke recognized to be his ex-fiancee Ana Lewis. Duke and Ripcord are rescued by Scarlett (Rachel Nichols), Snake Eyes (Ray Park) and Heavy Duty (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje). They take the warheads to The Pit, G.I. Joe's command center in North Africa, and upon arriving rendezvous with General Hawk (Dennis Quaid), the head of the G.I. Joe Team. Hawk takes command of the war-heads and excuses Duke and Ripcord, only to be convinced to have them join his group after Duke reveals that he knows the Baroness.

McCullen is revealed to be using the same nanotechnology to build an army of soldiers with the aid of the Doctor (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), planning on using the warheads to bring panic and bring about a new world order. Using a tracking device, McCullen locates the G.I. Joe base and sends Storm Shadow (Lee Byung-hun) and the Baroness to retrieve the warheads with assistance from Zartan (Arnold Vosloo), inflicting casualties on several G.I. Joe soldiers. After a fight, Storm Shadow and the Baroness retrieve the warheads and take them to Baron DeCobray, the Baroness's husband, for him to weaponize and use them to destroy the Eiffel Tower to serve as a showing of the warhead's destructive power. Making their way to Paris, the Joes pursue them through the streets but are unsuccessful in stopping them from launching the missile. Duke manages to hit the kill switch, but in doing so he is captured and taken to McCullen's base under the Arctic.

G.I. Joe locates the secret base and fly there as McCullen loads three missiles with nano-mite warheads. After Snake Eyes takes out one, Ripcord pursues the remaining missiles in a prototype Night Raven jet while Scarlett and her group infiltrate the base. While Scarlett and Snake Eyes attempt to shut down the Arctic base, with Heavy Duty leading an attack on Cobra's forces, Duke learns that the Doctor is Rex Lewis, Ana's brother believed to have been killed on a mission led by Duke four years ago. He was trapped in a bunker with Doctor Mindbender (Kevin O'Connor), disfigured in the blast which everyone presumed had killed him. The Baroness tries to free Duke but the Doctor reveals he has implanted her with nano-mites which has put her under his control for the past four years, admitting his amazement that she is resisting the programming. Attempting to kill Duke, McCullen ends up being facially burned as he flees with Rex to an escape vessel. Duke and the Baroness pursue him while the Joes fall back when Rex activated the base's self destruct sequence.

Rex then heals McCullen's burned face with nano-mites, encasing it in silver as he christens McCullen "Destro" and assumes the identity of Cobra Commander before they are captured by G.I. Joe soon after. On board the supercarrier USS Flagg, Baroness is placed in protective custody until they can remove the nano-mites from her body. Meanwhile, Zartan, having been earlier operated on by Rex, infiltrates the White House during the missile crisis and assumes the identity of the President of the United States

about kids on a family vacation who must fight off an attack

by knee-high alien invaders with world-destroying ambitions.

At the same time, the youngsters work hard to keep their

parents in the dark about the battle upstairs.

It's the Pearsons versus the aliens who "came from upstairs,"

in an all-out battle that will decide the fate of the Earth -

and kick-off the ultimate summer vacation.

It all starts as a meteor shower rockets across the dark

galaxy. Four glowing pods sparkle and crackle while hiding

behind the meteor show. A mysterious force makes the meteor

shower turn a hard right towards a bright blue ball in the

distance - planet Earth.

In a comfortable suburban house in Michigan, Stuart Pearson

(Kevin Nealon) and his wife Nina (Gillian Vigman) head a

family that includes adorable seven-year-old Hannah (Ashley

Boettcher); 15-year-old Tom (Carter Jenkins), a techno-geek

whose grades have gone south; and big sister Bethany (Ashley

Tisdale), who's just returned from a secret outing with

boyfriend Ricky Dillman (Robert Hoffman).

Deciding the family needs some good old-fashioned

togetherness, Stuart packs up the clan and heads to a

three-story holiday house in the middle of nowhere. Joining

them is Uncle Nate (Andy Richter), Nate's son Jake (Austin

Butler), dear old Nana Rose (Doris Roberts), and identical

12-year-old twins Art (Henri Young) and Lee (Regan Young). An

unexpected arrival is Bethany's beau Ricky, who wrangles an

overnight visit with the extended family.

As day turns to night, dark storm clouds start swirling around

the house. Suddenly, four glowing objects shoot toward the

roof. The alien crew inside the objects is made up of Skip,

the tough commander, Tazer, a muscle-bound dude armed to the

teeth, Razor, a lethal female alien soldier; and Sparks a

geeky four-armed techie, who is the only non-threatening alien

intruder.

Ricky is placed under the spell of the aliens, courtesy of a

high-tech mind-control device and plug implanted into the base

of his skull; Ricky's mind and actions now belong to the alien

crew. The alien "Zirkonians," via Ricky, lay claim to the

planet. Like a puppet/robot/zombie, Ricky moves towards the

boys - but Tom and Jake break free.

It isn't long before all five kids see the strange new

arrivals. Tom takes charge and the kids come to realize the

alien mind control device only works on grownups, giving them

a fighting chance against the invaders - and the

responsibility to protect the adults by keeping the aliens'

existence a secret. Left to their own devices, the kids

unleash their imaginations, creating makeshift weapons, like

piping ingeniously rigged as a home made potato spud gun. They

even learn to use the mind controller. First order of

business: taking control of Ricky - and turning his

robot/zombie/ idiot actions against himself and the aliens.

The adults remain oblivious to the alien presence and figure

the kids are being...kids...and insist that the youngsters

partake in a fishing expedition. Meanwhile, a touching

friendship is struck between Hannah and Sparks, the friendly

alien with four arms and hands. Unlike his alien cohorts,

Sparks has no stomach for battle; he just wants to return home

to his Zirkonian family.

Nana Rose comes under the spell of the alien mind control

device, which gives her super-human powers. She comes to the

kids' rescue -and into a battle with Ricky, who is again under

alien control. Nana Rose gives Ricky a huge jolt causing the

alien plug to dislodge. Skip joins the kids fight and uses his

four arms relentlessly creating devices that eventually help

the kids fight on.

As the battle continues, the laughs, action and danger

escalate. But the kids rise to the occasion, finding new

strengths and self-sufficiency. And it becomes clear that the

aliens never stood a chance....

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 - 720P 1DVD

Plot:

Tony Scott directs this remake of the original Palomar Production/Walter Matthau-starring thriller from 1974 with this Columbia Pictures production that pits Denzel Washington and John Turtorro against a group of hijackers, lead by John Travolta, who take over a subway train in order to rake in a hefty ransom. David Koepp (War of the Worlds) is adapting the book by author John Godey.

This version of The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3 splits the Walther Matthau character of Walter Garber into two persons (Denzel Washington as MTA Dispatcher Walter Garber, and John Tutorro as NYPD Hostage Negotiator Detective Camonetti), both of whose ordinary day is thrown into chaos by an audacious crime: the hijacking of a subway train that is in Garbers charge. John Turtorro plays the chief Hostage Negotiator who finds he is a fish out of water without Garber.

John Travolta co-stars as Ryder, the criminal mastermind who, as leader of a highly-armed gang of four, including a subway-knowledgeable henchman, (played by Luis Guzman), threatens to execute the train's passengers unless a large ransom is paid within one hour. As the tension mounts beneath his feet, Garber employs his vast knowledge of the subway system in a battle to outwit Ryder and save the hostages.

Camonetti starts the movie taking charge of the situation, suspecting Garbers complicity, but realizes his mistake when his actions cause the death of a hostage. Realizing that only Garber can solve the problem, he spends the rest of the movie making Garbers job easier by becoming the Liaison between his SWAT Team and Garber. In the end, it is Garber who solves the riddle of how the criminals intend to get away with the money.

Kate (Vera Farmiga) and John Coleman (Peter Sarsgaard) are experiencing strains in their marriage after Kate's third child - "Jessica" - was stillborn. The loss is particularly hard on Kate, who is still recovering from a drinking habit that cost her her job. As a coping mechanism she has scattered Jessica's ashes in their garden around a white rose bush, with a plaque to remember her by.They adopt Esther (Isabelle Fuhrman), a 9-year-old Russian girl they had met, from the local orphanage. While Kate and John's deaf-mute daughter Max (Aryana Engineer) embraces Esther almost immediately, their son Daniel (Jimmy Bennett) is less welcoming.

Kate grows suspicious when Esther, who watched Kate and John have sex, expresses far more knowledge of sex and its slang than would be expected for a child her age. Not long after Esther arrives, she pushes a schoolmate down a playground slide, who had picked on her, breaking her ankle. Max saw Esther shove the girl, but covers for Esther by saying that the girl "slipped". However, she is further alarmed when Sister Abigail (CCH Pounder), the head of the orphanage, warns her and John about Esther's tendency to be around when things go wrong. Esther overhears this and later kills Sister Abigail with a hammer to the head. She convinces Max (puts a gun to her head) to help her hide the body and the hammer. Daniel sees Esther and Max descending from his treehouse from behind a rock, not knowing they hid the hammer there. Later that night, Esther threatens to cut off Daniel's "hairless little prick before he knows what its used for" if he tells anyone what he saw.

Kate is told by the orphanage that they cannot find any record of the Russian orphanage Esther came from. However, John does not believe her, despite continued ominous behavior by Esther. That night, Esther deliberately picks flowers for Kate that are from Jessica's plant and Kate pushes her to the ground. Later, Esther breaks her own arm in John's vice and convinces John that Kate broke it in the scuffle from earlier. On Esther's first day back at school, she slips Kate's SUV into neutral, nearly killing Max. Badly shaken, Kate buys two bottles of wine, but at the last minute pours one of them down the drain and leaves the other full.

Kate learns that Esther was housed at a mental institution in Estonia called the Saarne Institute, but when she expresses misgivings to John, he and her counselor think that Kate is relapsing into her drinking habit. After John produces the other bottle Kate bought the night before, he threatens to leave her unless she gets help.

Daniel learns of the hammer from Max and decides to get it and go to the police. However, Esther sets the treehouse on fire, intending to get rid of the evidence and kill Daniel. Daniel escapes by falling out of the tree, and gets a severe neck injury. Esther tries to finish him off by smashing a brick over his head, but Max shoves her out of the way just in time. Esther again tries to kill him at the hospital by smothering him with a pillow. As doctors rush to save Daniel, Kate angrily knocks Esther down for doing that and is sedated by doctors.

That night, Esther tries to seduce a drunk and sad John. John realizes Kate was telling the truth all along and threatens to call the orphanage. Esther, angry at being spurned, ransacks her room and later stabs John to death. Max witnesses this and hides in her laundry hamper.

As Kate is coming out of sedation, she gets a call from the Saarne Institute's director, Dr. Värava (Karel Roden), who reveals that Esther isn't a 9-year-old girl at all, but a 33-year-old woman named Leena Klammer. She has hypopituitarism, a disorder that stunted her physical growth, and has spent most of her life posing as a little girl. The doctor tells Kate that Esther is dangerously psychotic, and Kate should rush home to her family. Kate rushes home, where Esther shoots her in the arm before searching for Max.

Their chase takes them outside to a frozen pond, where Kate and Esther struggle before falling through broken ice from the knife Esther tried to stab Kate with. Kate crawls out of the hole, followed by Esther, who begs for her life, addressing Kate as "Mommy". Kate angrily responds that she is not her mother and kicks Esther in the face, breaking her neck and sending her back into the pond to drown.
