Pizza Dough

1. 1/4 cup lard or shortening
2. 1/4 cup milk, scalded
3. 1 pkg dry yeast
4. 1/4 cup warm water
5. 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
6. 1/2 teaspoon salt
7. dash pepper

Add lars to scalded milk and cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in warm water, add to milk mixture. Stir to blend, knead dough about 5 minutes. Place on a greased cookie sheet or round pizza pan. Twirl dough to grease top. Cover with tea towel and rise in a warm place until doubled. Prepare pizza topping. Punch down dough and pat to 1/8 to 1/4 inch thickness. Bake in preheated 200C oven for 5 minutes. Removes from oven. Arrange topping on dough and bake for 15 minutes.
