On July 4th, 1991, The Replacements took the stage at the Taste of Chicago,
By the time the last song was finished, history had been made.
And not in a good way.
In what has since been labeled the ''It Ain’t Over ‘Til the Fat Roadie Plays'' concert,
each member of The Replacements walked off stage and was replaced by their roadie.
The Replacements were no more.
A great chapter in American the punk/indie scene was finished.
